Our Weekend in Atlanta

Well, after leaving Thursday around 3pm, we arrived in the ATL around 10pm.  Mandy and I each drove half way.  I finally finished “The Princess Bride” a ‘classic’ movie that everyone quotes and talks about, but I never saw till Thursday.  After arriving we passed out and got up Friday to head into downtown.  Friday we decided to take a CNN Tour;  I was very excited because Ian said it was really interesting to see the behind the scenes of the largest CNN headquarters.  Our tour guide was CB and he was fucking horrible!!!  You hear me CB, YOU FUCKING SUCKED!  He was boring, and montone and un emotional.  Get a different job!  You’ll never been an anchor!  Anyways, that was neat.  Next we did the ‘World of Coke’ and had a good time with drinking different cokes from around the world.  After that Mandy and I went to Ikea.  A store we’ve been wanting to check out for a while!  We had no fucking clue what we were doing or where to go or how to shop there.  It’s very different, the store is also just overwhelming, you have pieces of paper to write down what you want and what aisle and bin it’s in.  You have shopping bags you can carry, or shopping carts that can hold your bag.  We bought a few things, but the biggest thing was my new office chair, it’s awesome and very comfortable.  I bought the arms that you could put on it, but I’m still deciding.  I also put the chair together as we were driving home!

Saturday morning we woke up and went to the Georgia Aquarium.  It was FANTASTIC in every way!  We had a great time, especially since we downloaded the free audio tour onto our ipods, everything we saw was fantastic.  It is really well done, and the things you see are just really beautifully different.  It was really worth it, and I highly recommend it to anyone.  The Balluga Whales and Whale Shark Tank is just incredible!  Some of the crabs are awesome too, the things they allow you to touch is cool too.  The concert was amazing and I’ll write about that later, and show you pictures too.
