I thought about making a section journalizing my thoughts on the progress of the wedding, but then I read the title of this little section and it reads, ‘recent stories and tribulations’ so I decided to write a long post on my current thoughts. It’s interesting that one of the many questions one gets other than “When is the wedding?” is “How long have you been together?“. I sometimes get anxious to see the person’s reaction when I say, “8 months.” Now for Mandy and I (I’ll speak for her here) we both really feel like it’s been 8 years, we’re very natural together. Since the moment I knew Mandy was “The One ,” the phrase “When you know, you know” made perfect sense. All my favorite Dave Matthews Band love songs make sense. So many things related to love make more sense. I have never felt so like myself with anyone, which is the best part of our relationship. I have never been with anyone more compromising, sharing and helpful then Mandy. I feel like I am truly the luckiest man alive and couldn’t ask for someone more fitting. And for that, I find my motivation to make her the happiest woman on earth. I love you very much honey…
