I started to think about it and now I wanted to compile my list. I’ve realized that I love seeing comedians, aside from being fun, I see the true talent to come up with jokes, and punch lines. I’ve studied it and it’s definitely something I want to study some more. So without further adu….my list in no particular order:

First George Carlin, a pinnacle comedian of his life time and to this day.  I did get to see him live back in Melbourne.  Still extremely funny and innovative.  You couldn’t have asked for someone so smart and engaging.  Kevin Smith said it best in his blog post.

Bernie Mac, another hilarious comedian, and super nice guy.  From everything I read about him online, from people meeting him, they only said good things.  He was a hard working man, and deserved all the fame and success he had.

LeRoi Moore saxaphonist from the Dave Matthews Band.  Another super nice guy that deserved everything he had.  One with extreme talent, and the heart of gold.  Mandy and I donated to some of his favorite charities in Virginia.  We’ll be very sad when we see the Maddison Square Garden Show Stand Up for a Cure, it won’t be the same, but we’ll have a great time for the man above!

Update:  We’ve offically booked our flights and are looking for one more show to attend for Saturday night.  Also, we’re seeing Danny Gans instead of Celine Dion (that’s still tentative to change). 

]]> http://heyzeus.org/looks-like-our-vegas-trip/feed/ 0 Returning from a http://heyzeus.org/returning-from-a/ http://heyzeus.org/returning-from-a/#comments Mon, 17 Apr 2006 19:15:41 +0000 Zeus http://heyzeus.org/wordpress/returning-from-a/ recent trip to Chicago (like this past Thursday to Friday), I think I enjoy taking one day or one night trips.  This time our reasoning to go to Chicago was to see Dane Cook at the All State Arena in Rosemont about 30 minutes outside of downtown Chicago.  Joseph Crack and I arrived early morning and spent the day in the city looking like tourist tools.  Nevertheless, we had a blast seeing the sights and watching the Dane Train perform.  I’m looking forward to our next adventure this time with Edward in The Bayou to see Dave Matthews Band at Jazz Fest.
