I like to keep busy, ever since my biggest mistake in school, I learned not to waste any time (at all!).  And well, now I’m paying for it (it could be viewed as good or bad).  During my free time, I like to stay busy doing things like, cleaning, organizing, running errands, fixing things, yard work, etc.  For some wierd reason I don’t mind running to the grocery store, or cleaning or organizing something.  It makes me feel productive and that’s a good feeling.  Work lets me do lots of productive things during lunch, and on Friday’s when I can leave at noon.  And my obsession is why I don’t see my friends as much as I’d like, but that’s improved greatly!  Although, I’m not sure why I’m telling you this, cause I feel very un productive right now.

Getting back to keeping busy..

The Clit Commander! Right now that’s what the guys are calling it, but the friendly name of it is Victoria, for it’s tough exterior and soft/gentle interior (and when she tells me where to go, navigation is fun). jeep1.jpg So for the details, 2007, 5.7 Hemi 4X4 with six thousand miles (yes slightly used), fully loaded; DVD, 6 Disc Changer/MP3, Sirius Sattelite Radio, Bluetooth, Navigation, Rear veiw camera, 3rd row seating, and leather. There are more features but I can’t think of them, those are the major ones. This thing is pretty bad ass, and fun to drive. Mandy and I really like it so far. It was a good deal (knowing you always get fucked at a dealer). With the previous Jeep it was time to retire, and this is our ‘investment’ car (you know for family or towing that big ass boat I want). We’re both excited, cause this was our first car we purchased completely by ourselves with no outside help, we feel very grown up now. It’s also exciting cause I get to re-use my Jeep labeled rubber floor mats again! There are so many things that I love about this car because I knew for our next car it was going to be fully loaded (that was a personal goal), and now I won’t do any upgrades to this car….well maybe one, add the ipod adapter to the radio, but that’s no big deal! Ride on! jeep2.jpg

Well, like I said here’s my review of my new year’s resolutions;

  1. I have used the stairs everyday to get to my office.
  2. I have lost 12lbs.
  3. I have read my book on being patient and it has helped….some.
  4. I have done something I wrote in my moleskin.
  5. As far as time with friends, I could use some improvement on that, but it’s coming along well.

to a ‘family blog’. Those are my intentions, is it really gonna turn out that way? I’m not quite sure yet. I’d like a place for Mandy’s family and mine to see updates or thoughts, but I’m gonna tell them those things on the phone anyways. Maybe it’ll be more towards our friends from afar that we don’t chat with as often. Hrmm any ideas?

One of the funniest videos I’ve seen

Have a car question, I’m the man!  Have a computer question? I’m the man!  Have a home repair question?  I’m the man!  Aight, enough of that.  Tuesday night, I fixed my car!  What was it doing?  Well, when you tried to start it, it would begin the process of starting the car, but not ‘turn over’ so it would go, crank crank crank crank crank (continuously)  It’d have to do this a few times to finally start the car.  We knew it wasn’t an alternator or battery issue, and by process of elimination were able to determine it to be electrical.  We decided to replace the spark plug wires, Distributer Cap and Rotor, and the Distributor Coil!  I did most of the work myself with one final tool provided by Eric (he’s also got photos of the fun).  It was another successful car tune up!  I always get a little nervous working on my car, but this time turned out pretty smooth!  My understanding of cars continues to grow and with the help of my mechanic Critchet and part time mechanic Eric, I’m all set!
