And we both can’t wait…….for it to be over! heh, aight seriously we’re both excited about the big day, but we still have so much little things to do. We’re working on figuring out final arrangements for the wedding of who will pick up the gifts and deliver them, who can drop off the suits, how many will be attending the rehearsal dinner, how many will be at the reception, and so forth. We can’t wait to see family and friends we haven’t seen in a while, and I can’t wait to see Mandy in her dress of course, but man, this planning stuff and all these details, I’ve had enough!

I learned how to play Craps. And holy shit! I have been missing out big time! That game is awesome, and I understand why people continue to cheer the way they do. We just returned from vegas from my bachelor party weekend (I was swept away in secracy). And once I knew we were going, I wanted to be sure I learned how to play craps and I’m back as an experienced user! We had a great time, between the couple strip clubs, all the clubs at the palms, and Alizé restaurant at the Palms which is AMAZING food! Gambling, and talking with hookers, it’s a weekend I wont’ soon forget! Everyone had a good time, and I can’t say enough thanks to everyone going. I think the quote of the weekend from Tammy D is, “Pussy is pussy RIGHT!?!”
Finally after all these years of gambling
Author: Zeus | Filed under: Random News & Thoughts, Vacation & Travelis Google Apps, since I’ve migrated to the mini, I decided to make the move to doing everything online, from my spreadsheets, text files/documents, email, calendar, contacts, etc. Let me explain my setup and for some this may be boring or uninsteresting, but for those that don’t know, this is the shit! Since, I got the mini I’ve wanted to try out something I’ve been reading about with having as much of one’s personal stuff online. Literally, documents, spreadsheets, email, contacts, calendar, it fucking rocks. I can still do things on the home computer locally and everything syncs up. I’m using spanning sync to sync up iCal with Google Calendar, I use Gmail to have my email and contacts online, and Google Documents for my spreadsheets and text files. It’s been wonderful. This allows me to not have to vnc anywhere, and edit my files anywhere that has an internet connection. My next task is to have my music library online so I can play it from anywhere, same goes for my pictures. I know there are solutions out there for some of that stuff, but I’m still looking to find out what’s the best and easiest. For my photos I’ll probably use picasa or flickr, but they have limitations, and I import everything to iPhoto, if you have any recommendations let me know. Same goes for my music, I use iTunes and I’d like that clean click play interface. I even use Missing Sync for Windows Mobile to sync all my contacts, calendar, and email to my cell phone.
This weekend we’re working on the final details for the wedding, flowers, music, cake, etc. I’m looking forward to April 9th, when we’re on a jet to Aruba!!! It’s fascinating everything that happens on a wedding day with all the people that participate. Oh and I just remembered the cake and it’s details. Oh it’s gonna be soo good! See you in two weeks!
The past 2 months have been occupied with getting ready for the wedding, and other related events. In the process of getting married, I have been in charge of our finances. Which means I’ve been in the process of combining our finances and swtiching banks (I hate you suntrust!), Thanks WaMu (and Celly). Now, I got most things straightened out and finances are looking great. I’m on a very tight budget which means, I can’t buy whatever shit I want, and boy do I have a nice list going. Regardless, it a good feeling when we can comfortably have a nice savings account, and pay the bills and still have some extra money to put towards credit cards. I’m very proud of myself with how I’ve handled my/our money lately, and I think I’ve realized the importance to have a good financial foundation, cause it’s not just me getting by anymore, it’s us!
My mom threw Mandy and I a fun and beautiful wedding shower in Miami (this past weekend). Mandy’s parents and sister came along also, and they enjoyed meeting everyone. I miss my mom’s cooking when we go to Miami, but it’s a good motivation for me to cook more Spanish food. I’ll try to post some pictures from the party and a huge Thank You to all the family that came to the party and for all the thoughtful gifts. See you in exactly one month!
